ATD Supply is a technical carry goods brand focused on designing durable and versatile bags for travel and everyday use.
It was founded to provide world travellers with reliable and versatile carry goods. The brand approaches bags as functional tools for multiple scenarios: products designed around the way people move and carry their essentials, both during everyday use and while traveling.

3. Where are ATD Supply bags made?
ATD Supply products are developed in Italy and their manufacturing locations vary by product and production run, between Italy, Indonesia and Vietnam. Please refer to the individual product pages for the current country of origin of a specific item.
4. Who designs ATD Supply products?
ATD Supply products are entirely developed in-house by founder Michele Fasano, with a hands-on approach to design, pattern making, material selection, cost analysis and manufacturing. This allows us to consider the entire product development process, from the initial concept to the finished bag.

ATD Supply focuses on versatility: expanding capacity, minimalist aesthetics, compression and modularity are valued more than unnecessary complexity. 7. What is the difference between the ATD1 and ATD2 backpacks?
Both models have expandable capacity and are intended for versatile travel and everyday carry, but the right choice depends on your packing volume and priority use organization. If the ATD1 is the one-bag travel backpack that becomes your everyday pack, the ATD2 is the everyday backpack that can become your travel bag.
Do you want to have a do-it-all backpack? Do you carry a lot of gear everyday? Do you carry a 16' laptop? Do you need a comfortable and widely expandable pack for long-term one bag travel? ATD1 is for you.
Do you need an everyday carry that can serve you on short getaways or trips? Are you a minimalist capable of one bag traveling with limited load? Do you travel with a bigger main luggage and still want a daypack that can expand for unexpected loads? ATD2 is for you.
8. Which ATD Supply backpack is best for everyday carry?
The ATD2 is smaller, lighter and usually more suitable for EDC. The ATD1 can be a good choice too, if carrying a lot of gear or bigger laptops daily and for those who want to have fewer bags to do it all.

The ATD1 is bigger and more comfortable to carry under heavy load. The ATD2 can be a good choice too, if the travel is short or the user is minimalist enough.
10. What are the advantages of an expandable backpack?
An expandable backpack allows its carrying volume to change according to the load. This can be useful when moving between a compact everyday setup and a larger travel load, allowing use of the same backpack in different situations.
An adaptable design may also accommodate purchases, extra clothing or other items picked up during a trip, or groceries picked up at the end of a commute, without requiring a second bag.
11. How do I know if a backpack will fit my laptop?
ATD2 can fit laptops up to 14’, ATD1 can fit laptops up to 18’
12. How should I compare backpack capacity in litres?
Capacity in litres is a useful starting point, but it does not tell the whole story. Two backpacks with similar stated volumes may offer different usable space because of their shapes, openings, compartments and construction. Consider dimensions, access, organization and how the available space accommodates your actual belongings.
13. Can I use an expandable backpack as carry-on luggage?
An expandable backpack may be suitable as cabin baggage when packed within the applicable airline's size and weight limits. Always check the dimensions of the packed bag against the specific airline's rules.
3. ATD Supply accessories and modular carry
14. What is modular carry?
Modular carry is an approach to organizing equipment through separate components that can be combined, attached or rearranged according to a user's requirements. Instead of relying on one fixed configuration, modular systems allow people to adapt their setup for different activities, loads and environments.

ATD Supply accessories are designed to help users organize and adapt their carry setup. Depending on the product, they can provide additional storage, organize smaller essentials or offer alternative carrying options. Check each accessory's product page for its specific function and compatibility.
16. Why are shoulder straps sold separately?
ATD Supply chose to sell modular shoulder strap separately, and not together with totes and pouches, because you could just need one shoulder strap, whether you pick one or all of their pouches or totes, and it would be a waste to have (and pay for) more than one strap. You may also already have a favorite strap, or even skip it at all because you don’t plan to carry your tote or pouches that way: in all these cases, an included strap would be a waste of materials and money, an unnecessary production of unnecessary goods.
17. What are the ATD Supply Modular Shoulder Straps?
The Modular Shoulder Strap, available both in 1’ webbing and a paracord, and the Modular Shoulder Strap Padding, are accessories designed to provide an alternative shoulder-carry option to our pouches and totes. Check the product page for attachment details, intended use and compatibility.
18. What is the purpose of the ATD Supply Links?
ATD Supply Links are accessories within the brand's modular carry ecosystem. They are intended to mount our pouches (or any pouch with MOLLE back) into our backpacks to be used as a quick access pocket (QAP). Refer to the relevant product page.
19. Can ATD Supply accessories be used with other brands?
Compatibility depends on the accessory, its attachment method and the dimensions or hardware of the other product. Some accessories may be usable in a wider range of setups, while others may require a specific configuration. 20. Do I need accessories to use an ATD Supply backpack?
No. ATD Supply products work better when combined in a system, but accessories are optional and should be chosen according to your individual carrying requirements. A backpack can be used in its intended standard configuration, while compatible pouches and other components can provide additional organization or carrying options when needed.
21. How do I choose the right pouch for my gear?
Start with the dimensions and type of items you want to organize. Consider whether you need quick access, separation from the main compartment, dedicated storage for small accessories, internal organization or the ability for the pouch to serve you as a sling bag adding a strap. Compare the internal and external dimensions of the available pouches with the items you plan to carry.
22. Can I build a modular everyday carry setup with ATD Supply?
Yes. A modular everyday carry setup can be built around your daily requirements by combining one of our backpacks with selected pouches and accessories and a shoulder strap for the pouches to be used crossbody. Begin with the items you carry regularly, then add components only where they improve access, organization or convenience. Check compatibility and attachment requirements for each component.
4. Materials, construction and product care
23. Are ATD Supply backpacks waterproof?
No, they are water resistant, unless clearly stated otherwise. They often use waterproof fabrics, but waterproof materials do not automatically make an entire bag waterproof: that depends on both the materials, construction, closures and seams sealing.
24. How should I clean my ATD Supply backpack?
Remove loose dirt with a soft brush or cloth, spot-clean your pack with mild detergent and line dry it away from direct sunlight. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach, don’t machine wash or tumble dry it. Outer DWR treatment may wear off over time but it is easily restorable with spray coatings for outdoor gear.
25. Can I machine-wash an ATD Supply backpack?
Do not machine-wash a backpack unless its specific care instructions explicitly permit it. Washing machines, detergents and high temperatures can damage coatings, laminates, hardware and structural components. Spot cleaning is safer.
26. How should I store my backpack when it is not in use?
Store your backpack in a clean, dry and well-ventilated place. Empty it before storage, allow any moisture to dry completely and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or excessive heat. Keeping uncompressed can also help preserve its shape.
27. How can I extend the life of my backpack?
Avoid routinely exceeding the intended load, take care not to overload zippers and attachment points, clean the bag according to its care instructions and dry it thoroughly before storage. Inspect high-stress areas periodically and address minor issues before they become more serious.
28. Are ATD Supply products repairable?
They usually are, but repairability depends on the type of damage, the affected component and the product's construction. If your bag or accessory needs attention, contact ATD Supply with a description of the issue and clear photographs. We can assess the problem and advise on the available options.
Please consider that ATD Supply does not currently offer repair service unless it is covered by warranty.
6. Orders, shipping and delivery
29. Where does ATD Supply ship?
ATD Supply ships worldwide.
30. How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs depend on the destination, the selected delivery service and the amount of your order. The applicable shipping cost is displayed during checkout.
31. How long does ATD Supply shipping take?
Parcels are shipped within 4 business days from the order. Then, orders are usually delivered within 2 working days in Italy, within 5 working days in EU and within 12 working days in the rest of the world.
For remote destinations, or in some busy parts of the year, or even for random custom controls or just plain forwarder mistakes, delivery may occasionally take more.
Any estimated delivery window shown at checkout or in your shipping confirmation should be treated as an estimate rather than a guarantee, unless expressly stated otherwise.
32. Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other charges depending on the destination country. ATD Supply is not responsible for customs delays, duties or import fees associated with receiving your order. More details in our Service page.
33. How can I track my ATD Supply order?
If tracking is available for your shipment, the tracking information will be provided through the order or shipping confirmation process. If you have not received tracking information or your shipment appears delayed, contact ATD Supply with your order details.
34. Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Order changes and cancellations depend on the order's processing and shipping status. Contact ATD Supply as soon as possible if you need to make a change. We cannot guarantee that a request can be accommodated once an order has entered fulfillment or has been dispatched.
35. What should I do if my order has not arrived?
First, check your tracking information and the estimated delivery window. If the shipment is delayed beyond the expected timeframe, or tracking has stopped updating, contact ATD Supply with your order number and tracking details so we can help investigate.
36. What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incomplete?
Contact ATD Supply as soon as possible and include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the packaging and affected items, where relevant. This information helps us assess the situation and determine the appropriate next steps under the applicable order and shipping policies.
7. Returns, warranty and customer support
37. What is ATD Supply's return policy?
Items can be returned for a refund getting in touch within 10 days from delivery date.
In order for the refund to be issued, they must be in new condition, unused, with all original tags attached and, for bags with a frame, they should not be bent or folded into a shipping box or bag. Please get in touch with us before shipping in order to receive a return address. We will not accept returns without being contacted in advance. More details in our Service page
38. Does ATD Supply offer a warranty?
Our lifetime warranty covers manufacture and materials related defects. It does not cover noticeable misuse or normal wear and tear. More details in our Service page
39. What should I do if my ATD Supply bag develops a defect?
Contact ATD Supply with a description of the defect, photographs of the affected area, the product name and your purchase information. 53. Is an expandable backpack better than a fixed-volume backpack?
Neither design is inherently better. An expandable backpack can accommodate changing loads, while a fixed-volume backpack may offer a more consistent shape and packing configuration. Consider whether your daily load differs significantly from your travel load and whether adaptability is worth the trade-offs for your use case.
54. What is the difference between a travel backpack and an EDC backpack?
A travel backpack is generally designed around carrying belongings for trips, so it is usually bigger, has comfortable suspension and bigger cavities to host packing cubes, clothing or other travel essentials. An everyday carry (EDC) backpack is usually optimized for regular daily use, so it is smaller, sometimes more adapted to working environments and it could have some built in organization for smaller items.
Nowadays, the categories can easily overlap and a versatile backpack can serve both purposes if its dimensions, organization, carrying comfort and capacity suit the user's routine.
55. How do I maintain a backpack used every day?
Empty and inspect the bag regularly, remove dirt according to its care instructions and allow any moisture to dry before storage. Avoid overloading the bag or forcing zippers around oversized items. Periodically inspect seams, attachment points and hardware, especially if the bag carries heavy equipment.
